Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Keynote to PowerPoint (“we”), operated at keynotetopowerpoint.com, handles your data when you use the converter.

The files you upload

When you upload a .key file, it is processed in memory to extract your data. The original uploaded file is deleted immediately after your spreadsheet is generated — we never store the source document, and we do not use it to train any model.

If you are signed in, the extracted data (the rows, not the original file) is kept for 24 hours so you can re-download it from your Documents page, then it is automatically and permanently deleted. Anonymous conversions are never stored. You can delete your account and all stored data at any time from Settings.

To perform the extraction, the document is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI processing provider, which reads it and returns structured data on a transient basis. It is not retained for training by us. If you handle especially sensitive documents, review your own compliance requirements before uploading.

Information we collect

We collect minimal, privacy-friendly analytics (for example, page views and aggregate conversion counts) to understand usage and improve the service. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects the billing details needed to process your payment.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of processors: our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our AI extraction provider, and our payment processor (Stripe) for subscriptions. Each processes only the data needed for its function.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to operate the site and, for subscribers, to keep you signed in to checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

We don't retain your original uploaded documents. Signed-in users' extracted data is auto-deleted after 24 hours, and you can delete your account and all stored data anytime from Settings. For account or billing data, you can also contact us to request access or deletion.
